I got an e-mail that said my craigslist account had been suspended, never said what for, asked me to call by phone and "authenticate my account." Then it says try asking why in our "flag help forum," and asks me to click on their link. SCAM!! I'm dumb, but I'm not that dumb. My posting this is proof that my account is not suspended. "Slightly used" baby caskets? Halloween must be close.

  It's that time of year again. You may be thinking of the crisp fall air, leaves crunching under foot, or even a cup of hot chocolate, no, it's time for the Halloween crazy ads to come out and be flagged. Time for people to ask why was my ad for a kinda used baby casket flagged. Time for people to sell those "perfect for Halloween" items.
  Time for "black cat" adoption ads , and other "Halloween Hootenanny"! I will post as many Halloween black cat/kitten flagged ad threads from flag help forum as I can this year. Another quirky phenomenon that happens yearly on craigslist.

Why is it always the tutors?

  Why is it on craigslist when a tutor wants to offer their services that instead of posting to "services > lessons", they post to  "jobs > education/teaching"? This is nothing uncommon in flag help forum, it comes up all the time. A quick search for tutors shows this phenomenon to occur regularly on craigslist.  These are the very people we trust with educating us, or our children. Tutors seem to have a tough time discerning offering a service, from offering a job position.  It makes one question our educational system, and our schools of "higher learning", what is going on?  Perhaps these tutors could use some tutoring in the use of craigslist, but alas, who will tutor the tutors?  Well till we get better answers here is yet another post by a tutor completely baffled as to why people looking for a job flagged this ad offering a service.

Todays hot topic in feedback forum, "Abusive Flaggers Need To Be Stopped Some How ".

STOP ALL YOU ABUSIVE FLAGGERS!

  The battle rages on. Many ad posters believe the flagging is completely out of hand, they are tired of their "100%" legitimate ads being flagged. I have found very few ads removed for no reason at all. Most ads I have had a chance to see, that have been flagged, have had some type of violation. TOU violation, or a "community violation" ie: cheater ads, low pay for a job, no pay for a gig, etc. More than not these people just need a little help, and some friendly advice and away they go. Some just wont accept the fact their ad has been flagged, they claim everything from "fifth amendment rights", to creating elaborate stories as to why "their puppies need to be posted to farm and garden because only a person with a farm or garden could handle these pups. In the end the ad remains flagged, the ad poster feel cheated, and helpers feel frustrated that sometimes no amount of help can fix a scorned ad poster with a flagged ad. As you can see from the red and green rating points that my comment was not taken well. Oh well such is life.
