Would you change all the forums to R+? Would you get
rid of the points system? Would you banish
your favorite troll(s)? Get rid of "pets", or allow pet sales?
Charge for all ads? Make all ads free? Re-write the TOU?
Feeling bold? Then write as a comment what you would do with
your 24 hour pass/use of the craig° handle. Say anything you like
even if it is silly. But I think the comments that are serious will be
my favorites. Comment as many times as you like.

ReplyDelete1. Change the CL Forum Categories to R+. I suggested that a while ago in Feedback, and got over 100 plusses.
2. Appoint volunteer, peanut moderators for those forums. Give them some keys to the kingdom - ability to isle threads, super flag on handle ban. If they got out of hand, take away the privilege.
3. Re-write and reorg the TOU and FAQ. Link things better. For example this very useful page is not accessible from anywhere: http://www.craigslist.org/about/help/reasons (I'm still trying to figure out how I found it). Be more explicit about what is prohibited, such as MLMs, weopans, pet wanted ads. Get rid of PETA disclaimer.
4. Move WANTED to a separate area on the page. Rename SERVICES to BUSINESS LISTINGS.
I give that 1,000 points.
ReplyDeleteAbout reasons, it use to be accessible from the faq about flagging. Some time this year the link was removed.
A shame as it is a very useful tool.
